Episode 28 of the Apt 209 podcast is up!Also, thanks everyone for the book publishing tips!
Everytime I really really want to started on making a Candi book, I get put off within hours. The idea of self-publishing book is both exciting and terrifying. The more I look into it, the most daunting it all seems and the more frustrated I get. The sites that make it simple (lulu.com), don't offer a reasonable price for full-color printing... :(
So I have to do it the harder way. Look up printer sites, get quotes, figure out how to do pre-orders, make the pages and cover, figure out this ISBN number and barcode process, make the order, double check the printing, ship things myself (or figure out how to get the company to ship them), and market the books...
I sorta know what I mostly have to do... but I feel so lost about it all...
Ideally, I want a full color, 6x9, 112 pg, perfect bound, with my own isbn number, Candi book that I can distribute myself and thru online sites like Amazon, or b&m stores.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Book publishers with clear instructions, faq, and general info, would be AWESOME. Just tell me what to frikken do, please.
Have any ideas you would like to see as a Candi Wallpaper? :D I'm taking suggestions!
Brassy sent me some awesome
