I'm not good at editing Wikis and things like that. But according to the Wikipedia WikiProjects:Webcomics page, the Candi page needs work. I didn't know a Candi page even existed until recently, and according to Kisai over on Comixpedia, the author of a webcomic can't edit the page because its "vanity". (But that's besides the point because I don't know how to do massive edits to things anyway, just little things.) So if anyone wants to spruce up the Candi page on Wikipedia, feel free to so so Candi can be bumped into the Articles That Kick Ass section. Also, if anyone wants to copy the wikipedia version over to Comixpedia.org's version of the Candi site, that would great. I would do this myself, but mass-editing a Wiki page scares me. :D

Candi's anniversary has come and gone, and I got some really cute fanart this weekend for it. Thanks NinjaNick, Indigo, and Ria. :D

Oh crap... Candi will be 2 years old on Sunday. I totally forgot about this. I can't believe I forgot my own comic's anniversary....
Uhm... I don't have anything special planned... crap crap crap... uhh.... I wanted to make the cast page over again like a did last year, but I can't do that in 2 days. Well, it will get done soon anyway. So.... Happy Anniversary! I can't believe I've been drawing this thing for 2 years. I guess in the grand scheme of webcomics, that isn't that long. But I hope everyone will stick around for hopefully more years to come.

If anyone wants to celebrate, I can recommend the forums. Maybe someone will start a thread about it or something.

I also have discovered No Rest For The Wicked tonight. Excellent webcomic. I had an idea similar to this once. Still kinda do. But I could never figure out how to pull it off. Andrea does it right. :D

In other news, the Candi Store is finally open! I've just got some stickers and buttons for sale. I'm not sure how to go about making cooler merch than that just yet, but these things are still neat for now.

Also, I'm trying something new with advertising Candi, but I need your help to do so. I've created the Candi Street Team, if you'd like to check it out.

Just a note (because I've gotten a few emails about it). Any spanish I use in the comic (except Candi's attempts) I went over with some of my Cuban friends at work. So, the dialect is most likely "Miami Spanish", or really more "Young Cuban People in Miami Spanish" to be specific because the older folk say things differently too... Seems all my spanish speaking friends from other countries (Tanuk, Sare :D ) would say the same phrases in different ways. :D Of course if something is really wrong with the grammar, let me know! (Except again for Candi. Because her Spanish (and mine) is horrible, but hopefully understandable...... she tries! )
